OUR HISTORY
In 1901, John Ritchie Bisset opened Sudbury Steam Laundry in Sudbury, Ontario to serve the needs of the retail and wholesale laundry market in Northern Ontario.
Three generations of the Bisset family have continued providing the best possible service to communities in Ontario. That’s right—three generations. This just goes to show the passion we have for what we do, and why we’re proud to continue the tradition.
In 1972, James Robert (JR) Bisset decided to focus on the uniform rental and mat rental needs of customers and incorporated Northern Uniform Service. Since then, we’ve been able to branch out our offerings and service areas to better our mission and help more communities!
