How Does A Uniform Rental Program Work?
At the beginning of the program, each employee is assigned enough uniforms for two weeks. Employees wear half of the uniform inventory during the work week, while Northern Uniform cleans and repairs the other half.
On a specified day of the week, your Service Specialist picks up your soiled uniforms and returns the clean ones from the previous week.
How We Stay Organized
As an operation that serves many different cities across Ontario, it’s imperative that customers receive the correct uniforms on-time.
In order to achieve this and produce consistent results, a seamless, well-oiled process is required:
- After the soiled garments arrive at our facility for laundering, they are sorted prior to being washed and dried in one of our industrial washers and dryers.
- Garments are then hung and inspected for repairs by our trained personnel.
- Finally, they are scanned into our automated system to be sorted.
Once each garment arrives at the final destination, it has been sorted into the correct customer and wearer order and is ready for delivery.
Key Reminders
We take care of the delivery, pick-up, laundering, and repairs of all your uniforms so you don’t have to!
In order to maintain a perfect uniform cycle, we just ask that you:
- Don’t bring your work home. Put your dirty uniforms in the bin at the end of your work day.
- Please always remember your pickup day. Missing your pickup day results in a two-week delay for your clean garments.
